Biography
Yechezkel Zach Greenberger is a playwright, filmmaker, and photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. His first two plays, The Mashuganas (semifinalist, 2024 O’Neill NPC) and This Is My Covenant (semifinalist, 2025 Jewish Plays Project), are both set in the yeshivish community, where he also grew up. His short film Why Won’t You Say It Back premiered at NIFF. The First Year premiered at Havurah Jewish Shorts Festival. He is currently pursuing an MFA in playwriting at Brooklyn College, where he received the Himan Brown Award.
